How the Cheltenham Tipster Competition works:

  • Pick 3 horses for each day of the Festival. Your selections must all be in different races. A mythical £10 will be placed as a bet ‘To Win’.
  • So, you have a mythical £30 for each of the four days.
  • Just pick the winners! The entrant with the most winnings in their mythical bank will win! (The £10 win stake included)
  • So, if you back a 5/1 winner – you’ll have £60 in your mythical bank.
  • All bets will be settled at the starting price – no early or board prices can be taken. You must submit your daily entry form before 2pm GMT on each day of the Festival.
  • There is a daily £500 free bet as first prize, with two runners-up each receiving £200 in free bets. The overall winner will receive a mammoth £1,000 in free bets, with two-runners-up each receiving £200 in free bets!
  • You can enter on any of the four days, but to be in with a real chance of netting the big prize, make sure you’re involved throughout!
  • If you select a non-runner, then your money will be placed on the favourite (in the case of there being joint-favourites, your selection will be the one with the lowest racecard number).
  • To enter the competition, you must be a VC Bet account holder and to win a share of the £5000 worth of free bets, you must place a bet of at least £5 on a race at Cheltenham during each day that you participate in the competition.

Terms and Conditions:

Each day’s tipster competition is open to entry up until 2.00pm on each day of the Cheltenham Festival. This competition is only open to all new and existing VC Bet account holders, who must be over 18 years of age and who have had a bet of at least £5 on at least one race of the Cheltenham Festival on each day they enter. Only 1 entry per account holder. The entrant who has the biggest mythical bankroll (including mythical stake) at the end of each day’s racing, will win the daily first prize of £600 worth of free bets, with the entrants with the second and third biggest mythical bankrolls each winning £250 in free bets. The entrant who has the biggest mythical bankroll (including mythical stake) at the end of all 4 days racing, will win the overall first prize of £1,000 worth of free bets, with the entrants with the second and third biggest mythical bankrolls each winning £300 in free bets. In the event of a tie in both the daily and overall competitions, the free bet prizes will be split accordingly between the joint winners.The free bet prizes will appear in winning entrant’s accounts as a Promo Cash balance.  Promo cash can be selected to be used at the bet slip stage of placing any bet.  Winnings from promo cash are returned to your real account balance. On this occasion, promo cash stakes will be returned with winning bets.   Your promo cash bets should be placed separately from account balance bets. You have 7 days to use your promo cash once credited to your promo cash balance, if you do not use it in this period your promo cash balance will return to zero. Winners will be notified by telephone or email so it is important your details are correct. The VC decision is final. The offer is open only to the residents of those jurisdictions where participation is legal. The winner and runners up will be contacted within 4 days. The prizes are strictly non-transferable and no alternative will be offered. No cash alternative will be offered.
